For companies with mobile workforces—teams of people whose work takes place everywhere but the office—the strength of their business depends on their ability to effectively deliver work on site with customers and clients. An ever-growing number of companies will have mobile teams as part of their workforce in the coming years. Analyst firm International Data Corporation (IDC) estimates that by 2020, there will be more than 105 million mobile workers in the U.S. “Mobility has become synonymous with productivity both inside and outside the workplace, and the mass adoption of mobile technology in the United States has cultivated an environment where workers expect to leverage mobile technology at work,” said Bryan Bassett, research analyst, Mobile Enterprise Device Solutions at IDC
